Lastec was founded with one simple goal, to offer the industry a rotary mower that cuts grass more accurately than any other mower in the world. This was accomplished by reducing the cutting width of a single deck to match that of a small push mower which in turn allowed multiple mower decks to follow every contour of the ground.
By recognising that you don’t need to compromise cutting accuracy for cutting width, Lastec’s articulating decks eliminated scalped, missed and damaged grass caused by rigid decks and are still recognised as the benchmark of cut quality in the industry today.
The Lastec range has grown over the last 25 years and now boasts Zero- turn units from the 1.54 metre (61”) 2561 unit up to the 3.0 metre (120”) 4520 unit, which we believe is still the widest zero-Turn mower in the world. We also manufacture out front and rear mount PTO driven units to fit most manufacturers tractor units from 1.8m wide up to 3.3m.
The flagship of these mowers is the 721XR, which in its fourth generation is also available with a tow bar option (721XRT) and still our most popular model, capable of a 3.3 metre wide cut over the most unforgiving terrain with no scalping or missed grass and can be attached to almost any 35+HP tractor.
